Wowowee...
Minsan may mga contestants ang wowowee (indefinite leave pa rin so Willy Revillame) na mga Filipinong may asawang foreigners. Napuna ko lang, yung mga hosts, palagi silang nagpapasalamat at pinakasalan ng mga foreigners yung mga Filipina. E, bakit hindi kaya magpasalamat yung foreigners at pinakasalan sila nung Pinay? Para bang may nababanaag akong hindi pantay na tingin sa mga foreiners at mga Filipino. Mas mababa ang mga Filipino sa sarili niyang bayan? sa mata ng kapwa nya Filipino? Tanong lang naman.
Joel Osteen...
May mga ilang tao na napaka cynical ng kanilang pananaw sa mga megachurches, isa na rito ay ang Lakewood Church na kung saan si Joel Osteen ay isang senior pastor. Sabi nila, isa lang siyang motivational speaker. Sa pananaw ni Osteen, he has gift of encouragement, which I agree. Sa tingin ko depende lang kung anong lente ang ginagamit mo. Coming from secular perspective, yes it is motivation. Coming from religious perspective, yes it is a gift of encouragement.

Nu'ng una kong makita si Joel Osteen sa TV mag preach, sabi ko, I have never seen a preacher with so much annointing. "A pastor with a million dollar smile.", that is how I describe him. Madalas niyang banggitin ang kanyang ama na isa ring pastor. Naisip ko, God must doubled the father's annointing and poured them to Joel. Well, not until I saw Jodie Osteen, his mother, preach for few minutes, I was blown away. She has so much glory, full of wisdom and compassion, I think she has more annointing than Joel. (LOL, I-compare daw ba? Well blog ko to I'm allowed to say ridiculous things)
Australians and the Americans ...
The Americans are blessed with annointed pastors, possessing different gifts, especially wisdom. Benny Hinn, Joyce Meyer, Hagee, TD Jake, Price, Murdock among others. (at napakarami pa). But the Hillsong Church from Australia is blessed with powerful worship and praise ministry. The music and songs possess simplicity, sincerity and vulnerability yet full of life and power. Just look at the way the worhsippers praise God. (try youtube) What can I say, I'm eating my heart out, but, AWESOME!
